Anders Melbourn, Melbournanalys AB

Dr Anders Mellbourn was Director of the Swedish Institute of International Affairs, UI, 1997-2004. A political scientist by training, he is a former Editor-in-Chief of Dagens Nyheter, the leading morning daily in Sweden, where in all he spent more than 20 years in a variety of positions. He was chairman of the STINT Foundation (The Swedish foundation for International Cooperation in Research and Higher Education) 2000-2005.

He is now adjunct professor of politics and journalism at Halmstad University and visiting professor at the Centre of Baltic and East Europeans Studies, Södertörn University College. He is a board member of different bodies in the media and research communities.

Anders writes and comments regularly on public and international affairs in various Swedish media. As a consultant, he is primarily involved in evaluation projects in the areas of higher education and democracy promotion.
